Make The Nutshell! your 2020 Nutcracker

Welcome to the Nutshell! A special Nutcracker celebration that includes dancers, companies and regular people from all over the world. Produced by Mannakin Theater & Dance, it welcomes traditions and styles of dance from across the globe with scenes filmed in China, Serbia, Kosovo, Germany, Austria and Spain, and all over the US in cities like New York, San Francisco, Salt Lake and Santa Fe.

The whole production was created and filmed with safety in mind so that you could enjoy a Nutcracker this holiday season, no matter where you are. You’ll see the dancers wearing masks and in different outdoor locations on almost every continent, all knitted together by Mannakin Theater & Dance and Motion Glør, a San Francisco film production company.
